I would argue that people do not spend more time on a TV, but rather their phones. The problem with people not going outside and socializing lies not with TV, but with video games and social media. TV has been proven to help children with language problems. Society has been affected more so by phones and not TV. Sometimes, or always? Do you have specific examples?
College classes should be weighed because of their difficulty. The amount of work and time that goes into a college class because of how difficult it is should be rewarded. A B in a college course is better than a B in a high school course due to, again, its difficulty. This should be accounted for by weighing college classes, improving college courses in high school.
